Rilsan® Roto 11 is a special PA11 powder grade for rotational molding. It is especially suitable for the molding of tanks and vessels requiring chemical reistance (fuel, hydraulic fluids, corrosive liquids, coolant mixtures) and tremendous barrier properties. It also offers exceptional cold temperature impact resistance and high temperature dimensional stability.

 

Rilsan® Roto 11 powder may also be used as part (inner layer) of a bilayer structure called PETROSEAL - this combination is especially suited for ultra low permeation tank applications for Ethanol containing fuels - as mandated by EPA and CARB (California Area Resources Board). The excellent interlayer adhesion and inherest toughness of the PETROSEAL solution ensure that fuel tanks or liquid storage vessels pass stringent tests such as SAE J1241 and SAE J288 in applications such as motorcycle tanks, off-road recreational vehicle tanks and marine storage vessels.
