Arkema offers high performance materials for all major additive manufacturing processes – UV curing, powder bed fusion and extrustion. For UV curing, Arkema’s Sartomer business line offers N3xtDimension® resins, an integrated offering that includes custom formulations (for ready to print solutions), engineered resins (for a targeted performance and oligomers), and monomers, oligomers, cationic resins and photoinitiators (to optimize properties of formulations). For 56 years, coatings based on Arkema’s Kynar 500® resin protected against weathering & surpass the requirements of AAMA 2605. Kynar Aquatec® PVDF water-based finishes are used to protect metal and polymeric substrates and meet AAMA 615, 625, 2605 requirements.
Bostik’s adhesives and sealants offer superior adhesion to many building products including Kynar 500®, glass, metals, and plastics. Bostik sealants are Miami-Dade County approved. With applications ranging from assembly, back-bedding, and foam-in-place flexible gaskets to installation products.
Arkema’s Plastic Additives include Durastrength® acrylic impact modifiers and Plastistrength® acrylic process aids designed to improve mechanical performance and processing for rigid vinyl profiles. These additives are weatherable and can offer specialized functionality while boosting vinyl profile performance.
Arkema’s Siliporite® Molecular Sieves are high performance desiccants used to avoid condensation in between insulated glass panes. Available in powder for warm edges, or in beads for rigid spacers, Siliporite® adsorbs and stores moisture to improve the performance of your windows.

Kynar® resins are the material of choice for applications requiring high purity and chemical resistance. Kynar® PVDF and Kynar Flex® PVDF can be used to manufacture processing components described in ASME-BPE such as piping, tubing, fittings, tanks and other contact surfaces requiring USP Class VI or FDA compliant materials that can also be steam and chemically sterilized. Kynar® polymer is particularly resistant to cleaning agents containing chlorine, bromine and ozone-based systems. Kynar® PVDF fluid handling systems can also be cleaned in place with steam without losing performance.
Kynar® PVDF and Kynar Flex® PVDF are used to manufacture pipes, tubing, fittings, valves, pumps, tower packing, and tanks to handle hot, strong acids in the metal preparation industry. Kynar® PVDF resists strong acids and is capable of handling high temperatures up to 150°C. In particular, Kynar® PVDF fluid handling components stand up well to HF, HCl, Nitric Acid, Sulfuric Acid, Phosphoric Acid and Chromic Acid. For ultra-high performance our team will also promote Kepstan® PEKK.
